9th Annual Roy Lane 10K Road Race

10K times run starting at the Town Beach at 8am. $35 per person; registration forms available at the Travel Information Centre or Roy Lane (84 1/2 Front Street). Forms must be submitted before July 29. All proceeds support the Cemetery Fund for Benches and Cemetery Improvements.

"The Blueberry Festival Committee is pleased to be celebrating the 30th Annual Blueberry Festival in the year of the Sioux Lookout Centennial. The theme for this year’s Blueberry Festival will be 'Hometown Heroes.' We have chosen this theme because we would like to honour and celebrate the people who have worked so hard to make our community what it is today. In light of Sioux Lookout’s Centennial, the Blueberry Festival Committee would like to take this opportunity to encourage a sense of civic pride within Sioux Lookout that can be carried on in the years to come.
