Northwest Farmers’ Market
Kick off the festival by shopping local at the Travel Information Centre parking lot (11 First Avenue South) from 10am-2pm (10-11am is a special hour for seniors, persons with disabilities, and immunocompromised individuals only).
Remember to follow all posted guidelines and directions given by staff. Please enter by the playground at the south entrance of the parking lot.

The Cedar Bay unicorn has escaped again and is running loose! At 11am, look at the hints on where to find her on the Friends of Cedar Bay Facebook page and to try to catch the Unicorn.
When you see her, take a picture from a safe distance and send it to friends@cedarbay.org or to the Friends of Cedar Bay Facebook page with your name and phone number to enter a prize draw.

Cycle south to Moosehorn Rd, turn right into Moosehorn, and turn around immediately for the return back to the TIC to complete the course where you started.
The short bike course is a total of 12.4 km

Sioux Lookout Anglers & Hunters Archery Open Range
Experiencing the loss of a pregnancy or the death of a baby is devastating, but you aren’t alone. Trained local volunteers who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, together with the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network, are offering an anonymous conversation to understand cultural bereavement needs of people who live in Northern Ontario, share supports offered, share opportunities for meaningful volunteer work, and provide opportunities for participants to privately share their suggestions.

Run south along the footpath, across the pedestrian bridge, past Forest Inn, up the hill, and to the turn-around (1.25 km south of the start). Complete the short course by running back to where you started. The short run course is a total of 2.5km.

The Great Blueberry Bake Off
Get ready, get set, bake!
There are specific categories (muffins, slices, and breads) split into different age groups for judging. Winners will be announced on the Blueberry Bake-Off Facebook page at 3:30pm!

The Lost Treasure
Friends of Cedar Bay came across documents suggesting that there is lost treasure hidden in Sioux Lookout. Our riders need help finding it!
Join us at the Friends of Cedar Bay Stables (135 West Point Cove Road) from 1-4pm to receive your first clue. You will meet riders and their faithful companions, so don’t forget to take pictures and share them with us! (Family event - bikes or cars are recommended as clues are hidden all over town).
Slate Falls Air Balloon Drop
Over 100 balloons, each with a prize, will be dropped from one of our floatplanes over multiple drop passes over the beach for you to collect at 1pm!
Location (Second Sandy, MNR beach, or Town Beach) will be determined based on weather and announced in the morning. For more information, call 737-3640.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network Virtual Family Commemorative Gathering & Beading Workshop
1-3:30pm. This workshop will consist of an opening virtual smudging ceremony. After the virtual smudging ceremony, we have a very special guest, June Taylor, to show us how to bead a wristlet lanyard.
In the last 15 minutes of the workshop, Joanna Diindiisikwe will sing an honour song for the families who have experienced a pregnancy loss or infant death. This song is also for the many Indigenous children across Turtle Island who never came home. We are going to give individuals attending the workshop a chance to have their baby/babies names to be read aloud. Participants can either submit the names to joanna.burt@sunnybrook.ca or type them in the chat box during the virtual event.
